Thousands view Jones Act video within hours of its post on Tik Tok

A one-minute video featuring Grassroot Scholar Ken Schoolland attracts 11,000 viewers and scores of comments in just one day
And you thought the Jones Act was boring!
More than 11,000 viewers from around the nation, including many from Puerto Rico, somehow heard about the Jones Act video posted by "Oahu Joe" on the increasingly popular social media platform Tik Tok and jumped on board to view or comment.
"Oahu Joe" is Joe Kent, executive vice president of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, who on Tik Tok describes his purpose as "Removing barriers to Hawaii's prosperity."
It's another way we are educating Hawaii residents of all ages about how we can achieve greater economic freedom — with the crony-capitalist Jones Act being a perfect place to start.
