ICYMI: “Reconsider, Rep. Hirono”

From www.Lingle2012.com

For weeks on end, Mazie Hirono has refused to debate Governor Linda Lingle on the neighbor islands, even though this is a once-in-a-generation election. She has chosen to ignore nearly 30% of our state's population.

Yesterday the Maui News wrote, "After all, the winner of this election will be representing us in the United States Senate and arguing for Hawaii's interests in a Capitol full of skilled debaters."

If you haven't read the editorial in Saturday's paper, please read: Reconsider, Rep. Hirono.

While Hirono continues to duck debates, miss votes, and show complete disregard for the neighbor islands residents, Governor Lingle is meeting face to face with the people of Hawaii all across the state. Just yesterday she met with local sportsme n, and, later, the native Hawaiian community in Hilo.

Check out a complete list of the debates Governor Lingle has committed to: Debate Schedule.

Hawaii needs real leaders with real solutions who respect voters enough to show up and debate the important issues that affect their lives. Governor Lingle will be a strong voice for Hawaii in the U.S. Senate.
