Sunday, July 4: Citizenship Sunday Church-based Voter Registration Drive
By News Release @ 2:44 PM :: 7280 Views :: Energy, Environment, National News, Ethics

From Hawaii Christian Coalition:

I would like to invite you to help us in doing one of the most important things that we can do as Christian Americans – Registering other Christians to vote.

Statistics show that only about half of all self-identified Christians are actually registered to vote, which means that they will have no voice in our government.

In honor of Independence Day, Christian Coalition of America will be kicking off this year’s Citizenship Sunday voter registration program on Sunday, July 4th.  Please participate and give everyone in your church an easy opportunity to register to vote so they can have an impact for our shared values in this coming November election.

Visit the Citizenship Sunday section of our website where you will find:

  • Links to your state’s voter registration forms and information

  • Tips on how to conduct a voter registration drive in your church

  • Do’s and Don’ts for political activity in churches

  • A signup form to join our “Let’s Take America Back” campaign and distribute voter guides in your church this fall

Election Day is rapidly approaching.  Now is the time for us to focus on identifying fellow Christian conservatives – and to make sure that they are registered to vote.

So please join us and promote Citizenship Sunday in your church this Independence Day.  Thank you for your making a difference with your participation in this effort.
