From Kona TEA Party

Meet Hawaii's only Republican member of the legislature, Senator Sam Slom.

The Kona Tea Party will host Senator Slom at the Kona Vista's Pavilion at 1:00 PM, Saturday June 18th.

Senator Slom will discuss topical and pertinent issues of interest to everyone despite party persuasion. Topics will include the Federal government's assault of individual and States rights with regard to the Transportation Security Administration; why millions in taxpayer money has been spent to conceal President Obama's records; Senator Slom's budget proposal for program and department cuts, no raids on special funds (like the hurricane fund), no tax increases while saving money; his success in the past legislative session that struck the 25% GET tax increase.

Meet the only Senator who always votes against tax increases and is on the front lines protecting citizen rights.

The meeting is on Saturday, June 18th at 1:00 PM at the Kona Vistas Pavilion. Directions from the Chevron corner of Kuakini Highway and Lako Street: go mauka  (uphill) one block to Pualani Street.  Turn right and go 40 feet to the entrance of the parking lot.

Please bring your entire  family and invite your friends.  For questions or more information:  Call 334-1135.
