Hawaii Democrats Are Targeting YOUR Children with Their Sick Agenda

From HIRA, February 10, 2015 (Hearing deferred, see update below)

STATE POLITICIANS ARE TRYING TO UNDO ALL THE HARD WORK DONE BY CONCERNED PARENTS TO MAKE "PONO CHOICES" A PROGRAM WHICH, BY DEFAULT, OPTS ALL CHILDREN OUT.

THAT'S RIGHT, DEMOCRATS AT THE STATE CAPITOL ARE WORKING QUIETLY TO CHANGE THE RULES AND MAKE PORNO CHOICES AN AUTOMATIC OPT-IN PROGRAM . . . SO YOUR KEIKI WILL BE EXPOSED TO THE SICK SEXUAL AGENDA OF THE RADICAL LEFT.

Parents, if you are opposed to so-called 'comprehensive sex education' for Hawaii's children, you need to start contacting your representatives and start submitting testimony now!  The 2015 legislative session is underway and bad bills are making their way through the process.

DON'T LET THE TITLE OF THE BILL DECEIVE YOU!

"HB459 RELATING TO HEALTH."

Description: Specifies additional elements of Hawaii's existing sexuality health education law and its implementation. Requires the DOE to provide certain types of information to the public and to parents. Allows parents to opt out of the DOE's sexuality health education.

Right now, keiki are initially opted out of the program.  Politicians are trying to make them automatically 'opted in', so they inflict their sick and twisted agenda on as many children as possible.

This terrible legislation is scheduled to be heard by the Committee on Health TOMORROW (Wednesday) @ 8:35 AM in Conference room 329. (Deferred, see below)

HB459/SB395: Bad Bill Warning

UPDATE from HIRA, February 15, 2015

...Comprehensive (emphasis on 'comprehensive'- as in 'anything goes') Sex Education in Hawaii's schools (HB 459) was deferred until next week, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 @ 11:30 in House Conference Room 329.  The Senate companion bill (SB395) was also deferred until next week, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 @ 1:40 in Conference Room 224.

These bills have not passed out of committee yet so we must keep the pressure on.  Please urge people who have NOT weighed in on this yet to do so over the next few days.  Do not let these bills pass out of committee! Testimony can be submitted up to 24 hours before the hearings.

If you already submitted testimony, thank you!  They were fantastic!

But if you didn't get the chance to weigh in because of the short notice deadline, this is to let you know that there is still time to make a difference, and if you have friends and/or family who haven't had the opportunity to make their opinions known, then so much the better.  Please urge them to take the time to call or e-mail the chair, vice chair and/or members of this committee.

Talk or e-mail members of the Health Committee and tell them, honestly, why this is such a bad idea for Hawaii.  Encourage parents to use their own words when talking about this issue; be passionate, heartfelt and sincere.

Parents are the number one educators of their children. The Opt-In requirement gives parents the power and responsibility to ensure the safety and well being of their Keiki. An Opt-Out policy gives that power to the “state.” Do not let the “state” brainwash people into thinking and believing otherwise.

Their real aims are to:

  • Lie about traditional morality and sexual inhibitions in favor of actually encouraging sexual experience
  • Divide and scatter families as they fall into vice, depravity, and despair so these vulnerable people can be tricked into being dependent on their “programs”
  • Then accuse the victims with “well, you’re going to do it anyway” and “everyone else is doing it.”
  • Then make loads of cash by murdering unborn children
  • Do not let people fall for this!

At the most recent Ewa Neighborhood Board meeting, Representative (HD 41), Matt Lopresti, was questioned about this bill, and others that he either introduced or was a signatory on, and according to the questioner, “he clammed up like a rock, said he knew nothing about them and would not respond when asked if he supported these bills or not.”  They cannot even stand up and answer for their own lies and deception, so like true cowards, lie even more and refuse to answer their own constituents as to where they stand on issues . . . COWARDS!!!!!!

However, parents across the country are becoming more and more aware of what the sex industry (Planned Parenthood, etc.) is trying to do to their children under the guise of “sex ed.”  Other grassroots efforts like HIRA's are popping up all over in other states as they too are pushing back against those who want to push these atrocious programs in our public schools.

Anyone who has carefully looked into the modern phenomenon of today’s sex education industry knows that these programs are not designed to warn kids away from harmful experiences at all.  It's just the opposite.

Their false goals are for public consumption and they will tell you that it is urgent.

The version of the "facts of life" that today’s sex educators teach teens promotes sexual exploration, and experimentation.   The curricula are not based on health.  In fact, many of today’s “comprehensive sex education” curricula “eerily mirrors the ‘FBI Molester Grooming Paradigm.”

The American College of Pediatrics strongly endorses abstinence until marriage (the opposite of Comprehensive Sex Ed).  (Note: The American College of Pediatrics is not to be confused with the American Academy of Pediatrics which takes the opposite view [i.e., pushes CSE].  Planned Parenthood, the Guttmacher Institute, etc. will quote the latter when pressing for CSE in the schools).

https://www.acpeds.org/the-college-speaks/position-statements/sexuality-issues/abstinence-education

“The American College of Pediatricians strongly endorses abstinence-until-marriage sex education and recommends adoption by all school systems in lieu of “comprehensive sex education”.  This position is based on “the public health principle of primary prevention – risk avoidance in lieu of risk reduction,” upholding the “human right to the highest attainable standard of health.”

The American College of Pediatrics strongly endorses what most (i.e., 80%) parents want and that is delayed sexual activity until marriage.

Matt Walsh, popular blogger and young father himself recently wrote a great piece called, "No Thanks Public Schools-I Don't Need You to Teach My Kids about Sex."

http://themattwalshblog.com/2014/12/11/no-thanks-public-schools-dont-need-teach-kids-sex/

Please talk to the legislators on this committee and give them your heartfelt opinion on why you as parents, do not want this in the schools.
