Honolulu County Committee Endorses Charles Djou for Mayor

Message to Members,          July 6, 2016

If you are among the thousands of new Republican members who joined our Party at the Presidential Caucus, welcome!  If you are a longstanding member, thank you for your loyalty.

As your Honolulu County Chair I am pleased to announce that your Honolulu County Committee, which includes all of our elected Republican office-holders, just met this past Saturday and overwhelmingly endorsed former Republican Congressman Charles Djou for Mayor.

Charles Djou is a well-respected former City Councilman, an Afghanistan War veteran, and a reserve Army officer who has steadfastly supported our Party over the years.

Charles Djou will win the Mayor's office outright if he gets 50% + 1 vote in the August 13th Primary Election.  Our votes really count in this election because Charles will be on the non-partisan Oahu offices ballot running against the current mayor.

You may not realize it but you and your fellow Republicans generally vote in the primary elections at an average 80% rate, and in some districts, over 90%. This makes our Party's members among the most reliable voting blocs on Oahu. Let's get our turnout up to 100%, bring friends and family with us to the polls, and put Charles Djou over the 50% mark in the August 13th Primary Election!

Honolulu faces a crisis of old-boy crony-leadership, a mismanaged railroad, homelessness, and deteriorating public facilities.  We need a fiscally conservative, bright, hardworking Mayor.

It is now our duty as Honolulu County Republicans to turn out every Republican on Oahu to vote for Charles. This is a good opportunity to meet the other Republicans in your district as we work together to identify & register voters, and turn out our vote.

Go to gophawaii.com and sign up to volunteer, or send an e-mail to info@gophawaii.com to have your District or Precinct Chair get in touch with you about what you can do to help fellow Republicans vote for Charles in the August 13th Primary Election.
