Aloha mai!     March 8, 2018

First Crossover is finished and a little over 300 bills crossed from the House to the Senate and vice versa. Hearings for Senate bills are beginning this week! If you have been following legislation in the Senate and feel passionately about it, feel free to reach out to our offices to give us a heads up.

I am happy to share that among the hundreds of bills that crossed over, three bills primarily introduced by a Republican Representative made it. See below for a full list:

GET INVOLVED!

These bill ideas are still alive and need your support in the Senate. Please join us throughout this session by advocating for these ideas. Here is how you can get involved:

  1. Call your Senator and tell them to give these bills a hearing (bill numbers are listed within this email).
  2. Come to the legislature and testify or submit testimony online at capitol.hawaii.gov for these measures.
  3. Tell your friends and family about it, and get them involved too!

For more information or to stay up-to-date with what's happening at the capitol, please view our website at houseminority.wordpress.com.

We are excited and grateful for this opportunity to serve you. We look forward to seeing you at the hearings, in the halls of the Capitol, and in the community. And if there is anything we can do for you, please reach out to any of our offices. Our contact information can be found on the capitol website. Don't forget to share this with your family and friends! Take care and God bless.
