HONOLULU –Lt. Governor Duke Aiona, the leading Republican gubernatorial candidate, and his wife Vivian Aiona today joined with 200 grassroots supporters to mark the grand opening of the gubernatorial campaign's O`ahu headquarters.

"This opening was made possible by the hard work and generous donations of our working families and concerned citizens who want to keep the promise of a balanced, efficient and accountable state government," said Lt. Governor Aiona. "Our campaign headquarters will serve as a rallying point for Hawai`i's citizens to get involved in shaping the future of our state."

Nearly 300 people attended the grand opening last week of the gubernatorial campaign's East Hawai`i headquarters.

"We're going after every vote on every island," added Lt. Governor Aiona, who held a fundraiser Thursday on Maui that attracted more than 700 people. "We're opening campaign offices in every county and reaching out to working families and small businesses across the state."

First Congressional District Candidate Charles Djou, State Republican Party Chairman Jonah Ka`auwai, Miss Aloha Hula 2010 Mehealani Mika Hirao-Solem, Miss Rodeo Hawai`i Taylor Wong, grassroots leaders, cabinet members and other distinguished guests attended the O`ahu ceremony.

Building an Unstoppable Wave

We saw it with the 300 supporters who joined

us in Hilo last week for the grand opening of our East Hawai`i headquarters. More than 700 turned out earlier this week for a pa`ina on Maui. Duke and Vivian joined another crowd of 700 last weekend for the Hawai`i Republican Party State Convention, and 200 came out today to help us open the O`ahu headquarters.

Through supporters like you, we're building an unstoppable wave that will take us to victory on Election Day.

The verdict is in: our people want a balanced, efficient and accountable government, and Duke Aiona is the only candidate who can make it happen. But he needs our support and our vote to keep the wave going.

The old guard of Hawai`i politics will do everything within their power to stop Duke Aiona, Charles Djou and others not beholden to special interests and partisan politics. We need to counter the big money contributions and machine politics that will stop at nothing to put a rubber stamp in the Governor's Office and tilt the Executive Branch of government in their favor.

By working together and spreading the word to our family and friends, we will continue building an unstoppable wave that will roll past the professional politicians and "no can" attitude that has kept our families and communities from achieving their full potential.

Heartfelt aloha always,

Dutch
