LINDA LINGLE SENATE CAMPAIGN TO LAUNCH INTERACTIVE "LL2012" DIGITAL CHANNEL 110 ON OCEANIC TIME WARNER CABLE

FIRST-EVER CANDIDATE CABLE CHANNEL SET TO BEGIN TOMORROW

News Release from www.Lingle2012.com

HONOLULU - Governor Linda Lingle, candidate for Hawaii's open U.S. Senate seat, will launch a landmark digital cable channel tomorrow dedicated solely to providing information about her U.S. Senate campaign and informing voters about the important issues facing Hawaii. According to Oceanic Time Warner Cable, digital cable channel 110 displayed as "LL2012" in the channel guide, will mark the first time in U.S. campaign history that a political candidate will utilize a dedicated cable channel to interact with voters.

The exclusive digital channel will provide the people of Hawaii with timely information about Governor Lingle's positions on important issues affecting Hawaii and the nation, as well as a library of video messages, interactive polling opportunities and live coverage of key events on the campaign trail.

"Hawaii residents and families are juggling the demands of everyday life, making it difficult to dedicate time to attend political events. Their hectic schedule, however, does not diminish their desire to stay informed about the issues that affect Hawaii's future," said Governor Lingle.

"Because I care deeply about all the people of Hawaii and am running for the U.S. Senate to make life better for the people of our state, my campaign is committed to finding new ways to keep people connected. By employing all accessible media platforms, we are putting 'people first' by meeting voters where they are. In many cases, that means their living rooms, through their home television. By utilizing this new, engaging and interactive digital cable channel, my campaign will be able to further the important dialogue and information sharing to complement many of our traditional grassroots campaign activities," added Governor Lingle.

LL2012, digital channel 110, will provide on-demand information about Governor Lingle's campaign. Digital cable users can utilize their interactive DVR remote to navigate the channel.

"Throughout her 30 years of public service, Governor Lingle has demonstrated her commitment to being on the cutting edge of media techniques to communicate with the people of Hawaii," said Lenny Klompus, the campaign's Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director. "We look forward to further developing this innovative platform, which will continue to evolve throughout the course of the campaign, as another important way to keep voters across the state informed about Governor Lingle's vision for Hawaii's future," added Klompus.

Oceanic Time Warner Cable digital cable subscribers are encouraged to tune in to LL2012 on channel 110 beginning tomorrow, Monday, June 11, 2012. Non-digital subscribers should contact Oceanic Time Warner cable for access.
