GOVERNOR LINDA LINGLE LAUNCHES NEW SPOT HIGHLIGHTING HER COMMITMENT TO IMPROVING HAWAII'S ECONOMY

News Release from www.Lingle2012.com June 25, 2012

HONOLULU - Governor Linda Lingle today released a new television/cable spot in her campaign for Hawaii's open U.S. Senate seat.

"Hawaii is a state of small business owners, unlike other states where you have some very large employers. Here we really are reliant on our smaller businesses," said Governor Lingle.

The spot, featuring several small business owners and community leaders from East Hawaii, highlights Governor Lingle's commitment to Hawaii's over 24,000 small businesses, that collectively are the lifeblood of the state's economy. As the video shows, Governor Lingle has a plan to encourage small businesses to thrive, create new jobs, and increase tourism.

Governor Lingle is endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest federation of small businesses. With members from Hawaii and throughout the country, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has over three million members nationwide.

You can view the new spot online here: The Economy - Small Business In Hawaii

It is also available on LL12, digital channel 110, on Oceanic Time Warner Cable. This landmark digital cable channel is dedicated solely to providing information about Governor Lingle's U.S. Senate campaign and informing voters of her solutions to the important issues facing Hawaii.

The cable channel is just one of the numerous platforms the Linda Lingle Senate campaign is utilizing to reach voters on their own time and in their home. The ever-evolving channel will be adding interactive programs in the weeks ahead which will provide Hawaii residents total access and availability to Governor Lingle 24/7.
