One of Governor Lingle’s opponents, Mazie Hirono, just launched a well-financed advertising campaign this morning, which centers on a 60 second commercial designed to pad her transparent record. Mazie’s record is clear, because it’s empty. Despite her long political life and her tenure in the most unpopular Congress in U.S. history, Mazie Hirono hasn’t gotten the job done for the people of Hawaii.

In addition to her own ad campaign, a third-party labor organization supporting Mazie launched an additional $40,000 radio ad buy last week.

As we draw closer to Election Day, we can expect even more money to flow into our opponent’s war chest and we must be prepared to match their fundraising. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. Will you help Team Lingle keep the Governor’s message of bipartisanship and common sense solutions on the air by chipping in $5, $10 or even $25 today?
