WE’LL EVEN HELP HER MOVE
HONLULU—The Hawaii Republican Party stopped by Colleen Hanabusa’s headquarters this afternoon with moving boxes fresh off her statement and our video released yesterday indicating she would be moving into Hawaii’s First Congressional District.
“With the good Senator’s statement yesterday announcing she’d be moving into the first Congressional district, we thought we’d come down and help her move,” said Dylan Nonaka, HRP Executive Director.
She knows herself how important living in the district is since she criticized her opponents in 2002 and 2006 when she was running for Hawaii’s second Congressional district. She also supports the state law that requires candidates to live in the district for which they are running. Yesterday she released a statement saying she’d move into the district if she won but we ask why not move in now?
The Hawaii Republican Party has started an online petition to help garner volunteers to help Hanabusa with her big move. It can be found on www.gophawaii.com.
