United States Senate Candidate Cam Cavasso: Plan for Jobs and a 21st Century Economy
Part I of “Plan for Jobs and a 21st Century Economy,” titled “Innovation and the Economy” focuses on creating jobs for Hawaii by building a world-class information technology infrastructure, reinventing healthcare to control costs and put decisions in the hands of patients and their doctors, and investing in energy independence as economic security.
Part II, titled, “Economic and National Security,” focuses on the national security risks of government deficits and debt, the need for secure borders and comprehensive immigration reform, and taking care of our troops and veterans when they return home. Part III of “Plan for Jobs and a 21st Century Economy,” titled “Balancing the Budget” focuses on addressing the chronic deficits faced by the U.S. Government by addressing Washington’s out-of-control spending and developing a fairer, simpler tax code that avoids the revenue volatility of the current income tax structure.
