Tea Party Revival author Leland Baker to speak at Maui Event
By News Release @ 8:54 PM :: 5752 Views :: Kauai County, DHHL

The TEA Party Maui is pleased to announce Dr. B. Leland Baker will be speaking on Maui this February 18th!

Dr Baker

From TEA Party Maui

Dr. Baker is the author of TEA Party Revival: The Conscience of a Conservative Reborn: The TEA Party Revolt Against Unconstrained Spending and Growth of The Federal Government.

Dr. Baker is featured in a PBS Special on the Tea Party Movement:

Dr. Baker, Professor of Management and Homeland Security at Colorado Technical University, is a nationally known speaker at Tea Party rallies. His message of adherence to the Constitution, is viewed as radical to Big Government politicians, but is considered common sense to members of the Tea Party movement. He argues for the value and importance of constitutional principles--freedom, foremost among them--in contemporary political life. He explains how constitutional compliance leads to smaller, limited government, which results in lower spending, lower taxes and greater freedom for all Americans. He explains how over-spending has placed our children and grandchildren in fiscal bondage for the next century and answers "How did it come to this?"

Dr. Baker entered the United States Army in 1974, and was commissioned as an officer following graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1978.  He served in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East for 26 years on active duty and is a board-selected Joint Specialty Officer and military strategist. Dr. Baker also served for over two years with the American Embassy in Kuwait. His military oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution and his travels to over 30 countries contributed to his life-long study of the inter-relationships among individual freedom, government control, and economics.

In addition to his extensive experience, his Doctorate in Management makes him well-equipped to elucidate the cancerous growth of the federal government, the big government schemes that only fleece the taxpayer, and the so-called “expansion” of rights that in truth only leads to more layers of bureaucracy, higher costs, and lower efficiency.

Dr. Baker's book, Tea Party Revival, 5 stars on Amazon, arms its readers with the information they need to cut through the obfuscation of current events and constitutional principles by the main stream media and by the government itself.  In his concise and engaging book, Dr. Baker shines a clear light on the false promises, fiscal mismanagement and enraging habits of the federal government; and, more importantly, he lays out the steps necessary to salvage the original ideals of our country’s founding fathers. It is written at a defining moment in history: the end of the United States' Superpower status due to America's experiments with Big Government growth, unconstrained spending, and disregard for the Constitution. As the Tea Party movement continues to gain momentum, Tea Party Revival  provides a level headed outline of how true constitutional compliance will lead to a smaller, more limited government, which will result in lower spending, lower taxes, and greater political and economic freedom for American citizens.
