Antivaxxer on Kauai Council -- Felicia Cowden Goes All-in
PHPJ: … Medical freedom and parental rights face a growing threat in Hawaii — with implications that extend far beyond the islands, Kauai County Councilmember Felicia Cowden told (antivax propaganda outlet,) CHD.TV this week.
(Kauai County is the least Republican of Hawaii’s four counties. Yet this Russia-connected antivaxxer keeps getting reelected.)
Cowden criticized Gov. Josh Green’s emergency proclamation that allows pharmacists to administer COVID-19 vaccines to anyone age 3 and older without a doctor’s prescription ….
“We’re not livestock and it’s not a one-size-fits-all situation,” Cowden said….
(But she organizes propaganda junkets to Russia, where humans really are treated as livestock.)
The emergency proclamation reveals a fundamental conflict over who controls children’s medical decisions — parents or the state, according to Cowden, (echoing RFK’s propaganda.)
Hawaii declared an emergency after the (antivaxxers, who have taken over the) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine advisory committee voted that “parents should be involved in deciding if the child could get a COVID-19 shot,” she said.
(FUN FACT: Donald J Trump is the father of the vaccine.)
Treating parental involvement as a crisis is “beyond the pale,” Cowden said (building on RFK’s propaganda.)
She emphasized that the shift is about informed consent and active engagement, not opposition to vaccination. U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “isn’t saying don’t get vaccinated, he’s saying, get engaged and let’s make the vaccine safe,” she told CHD.TV.
(IQ TEST: Do you believe this?)
Cowden said the COVID-19 pandemic changed how families approach medical mandates.
“Parents have really started to look deeply at what goes into the vaccines.” Cowden cited a surge in reports to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) after the rollout of COVID-19 shots.
(IQ TEST: Do you believe this?)
“For a child who would really easily manage right through that illness,” Cowden said, it makes little sense to be “forcing this on families and kids.” …

Can Hawaii Ban Guns by Default?
WSJ: … The Second Amendment lets law-abiding Americans carry guns for self-defense. At the same time, shopkeepers have a right to put up signs that bar firearms at the door. But what about stores and other places open to the public that don’t say anything? Hawaii has set a “no guns” policy on their behalf, making that the default for private property. Now the Supreme Court will consider next week if this is unconstitutional….

Dude Commits Crime after Crime After Innocence Project wins his Release
HNN: …The Hawaii Innocence Project helped overturn Jardine’s conviction in 2011 after DNA (allegedly) ‘cleared’ him of a knifepoint rape in 1990. But he had already served 20 years in prison….
(CLUE: It’s easy to blow away 20 yr old cases.)
Jardine spent the years after his release going in and out of the system (committing crime after crime) arrested for missing court, robbery and theft.
In October 2024, Jardine appeared in court for stealing a lawnmower. He declined an interview with Hawaii News Now after his appearance….
The Maui Police Department put out a missing person alert for Alvin Jardine on Christmas Eve. Days later, MPD said his body was found in the area of North Honokala Road in Haiku. Police said there were no indications of foul play….
(Too bad he wasn’t locked up in a nice safe prison. He would be alive today if not for the OJ Simpson Innocence Project.)
