On the Money: Abercrombie's RTTT Deal with HSTA

Dear Editor,

All citizens of Hawaii interested in education should read the Chicago Tribune article on RTTT grants.

Your statement that a deal between Abercrombie and the HSTA is in the works and they are both in on it is right on the money.  The HSTA will end up with a juicy contract and Obama will come through with the $75 million.  Both Arne Duncan and Obama are from Chicago and know the "Chicago Way".  I'm from Chicago, too, and got tired of these corrupted politicians.  I thought things would be better here, but the Chicago Way is finding its way across the country.  The final result will be more money pumped into a broken education system, just like they've done in Illinois for decades.  Does anyone really care about our future generations?
