DUKE AIONA RELEASES CAMPAIGN SPENDING REPORT

News Release from Aiona Campaign

HONOLULU (July 10, 2014) – Hawai‘i Gubernatorial Candidate Duke Aiona announced today he has raised more than $360,000 in the first six months of 2014. Out-of-state donations were less than 1% of total contributions. Total donations included more than 1,205 individual donations averaging $299.50.

“This is a strong win for Hawai‘i’s momentum towards Trust, Respect and Balance. The strong support from the people of Hawai‘i is reflected in our low out-of-state contributions and the average individual donation amount. I am proud my campaign is so strongly supported by individuals within Hawai‘i. Since announcing my candidacy in May, the response has been overwhelming. I am humbled and honored with every donation I receive. As the only candidate who has released detailed solutions, this sends a clear message that the people of Hawai‘i are ready for real solutions, not just rhetoric,” said Aiona.
