DJOU: PUT POLITICS ASIDE, COMBAT ISIS, AND SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT
News Release from Djou Campaign September 10, 2014
Former Congressman Charles K. Djou reacted to President Obama's national address on seeking military action against the Islamic State (ISIS).
"Although I am disappointed by the Administration's delay in addressing the growing threat to America from the Islamic State, the President's decision to show leadership is a step in the right direction," stated Djou. "I join the leaders from both political parties in support of the President on his proposed actions. Politics should end at the water's edge and our country must immediately deal with the pressing threat to America's national security posed by ISIS."
Djou represented Hawaii’s 1st Congressional District from 2010 to 2011 where he served on the House Armed Services Committee. Djou is a combat veteran who served with the 10th Mountain Infantry Division in Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012.
