Message to Supporters from Aiona-Ahu Campaign    October 24, 2014

Aloha and thank you for your steadfast commitment to this campaign. I have been overwhelmed in the last weeks with your unending support and encouraging words. You are the reason I wake up charged up for another day of campaigning!

I know many of you have been asked about the misinformation that my opponent has been sending out via mail and television. I am disappointed that they have once again resorted to FEAR tactics that are untrue at best and deceptive and divisive at worst. This is far from leadership you can TRUST, and if we stand by our motto, "Ua Mau ke Ea o ka `Aina i Ka Pono" the life of our land will only be perpetuated under TRUSTWORTHY leadership.

The character of our next state leadership cannot be the same as that of the recent past. We need leaders who will share a vision in their message that brings you HOPE for our future, and not someone who chooses to share lies of the past in their message and tries to invoke FEAR.

Please take a look at the two videos below regarding the two issues that my opponent is trying to use to smear my character and invoke fear in our community. I hope this will clarify any confusion that is out there and equip you to answer the questions your friends and family might have. Please share these videos and remind everyone that the Aloha state should not be lead by those who want gain by invoking FEAR, but by leaders who can cast a vision and implement a plan that brings HOPE to our islands.
