UPDATE LINK>>> Video of Second Congressional Debate

First Congressional debate January 12 hosted by www.HawaiiReporter.com Editor Malia Zimmerman on Honolulu Public Access TV.

Case and Djou indicate support for the old version of the Akaka Bill.  Hanabusa apparently supports the new version.  Unfortunately these answers were not developed clearly.

Case attempts to corner Hanabusa into committing to supporting a Special Election on May 1 -- the answer finally is dragged out of her at the end.

Hanabusa and Case both repeatedly try to paint Djou as somebody opposed to all forms of government regulation, Djou rejects the charge, and cites examples.

Hanabusa calls stimulus spending "necessary", Case says stimulus is "needed".  Djou emphasizes that he places his faith with the small businessperson.  Hanabusa says people are coming to her asking for stimulus money.  Djou says he is hearing from people who have derive no benefit from stimulus.

On Obamacare, nobody comes out and gives a full-throated endorsement of Obamacare.  All agree that reform is needed, Djou questions whether the reforms being debated in Washington are the ones necessary.  Hanabusa demurs, saying that it is not clear what is going to come our of Washington.

All agree to further debates.
