Seven years ago, in 2008, Hawaii Democrat Kirk Caldwell fought against Republican efforts to have homelessness declared an emergency.
In 2015, Democrats finally came around after kicking and screaming for seven long years.
Imagine how much less suffering there would be during the past seven years if Democrats didn't live in denial that Hawaii is the #1 state for homelessness per capita?
Hawaii's Democrats should be ashamed.
And the public has a right to know.
