Ballots are Being mailed Today

Ballots are being mailed today.  Recent polls show that this race is extremely close and EVERY single vote will count.  If we are going to make a difference and change the direction of our nation, I need your help now.

I need you to, first and foremost, vote when you receive your ballot in the mail over the weekend.

I need you to also call at least ten people in the First Congressional District, which includes everyone who lives between Hawaii Kai, Mililani and Ewa Beach, and encourage them to vote– apart from my asking for a vote, nothing is more effective than you asking your family and friends for me.

I need you to forward this email to your family and friends – if possible, to everyone in your email address book- can you imagine how quickly each one of us individually can spread our message collectively.

This campaign is not about me.  It’s about all of us – individually and together – standing up to our State and our Nation – to say that we deserve a better economy, more jobs and a better future for our children and grandchildren.  We are spending money we don’t have, on programs that don’t work, and worse yet, we have no plan to pay to pay it back – other than to hand the bill to our children.  We must instead grow our economy and reduce spending. As you know, I support:

  1. expanding free trade;
  2. reducing our tax rates;
  3. a balanced budget amendment;
  4. earmark reform; and
  5. eliminating wasteful government spending programs.

The mentality in Congress that we can spend our way to prosperity has not worked and we must change course.

If you believe as I do, please help us send that message by:

  • Voting and making sure that everyone in your home fills out their ballot and sends it in.
  • Forwarding this email to everyone in your address book and letting them know you will be voting for Charles Djou and encourage them to do the same.
  • Call your 10 closest family and friends and make sure they look for their ballot in the mail and vote when they get it.
  • Volunteering at a phone bank or going door to door to help us reach our supporters.  Call us at 979-6556 if you would like to help.
  • Making a contribution to our campaign to ensure we have the resources to get out our vote and finish strong.  Click here to make a secure online contribution.

The national Democrats know this race is important and have shown it by spending over a quarter of a million dollars on completely FALSE ads about me and my record. The best way for you to help me fight back is to get people to return their ballots with the box next to Charles Djou filled out.

I have posted a video explaining the mail in voting process and if you would like to view it, please click here.

Ballots must be received by the Office of Elections by May 22 so the sooner you put the ballot in the mail the better.  If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to contact my campaign at 979-6556 or you can visit our online voting HQ at www.djouwave.com.

Mahalo for your support!

Charles

MORE LIES FROM DEM PARTY BOSSES FLOOD AIRWAVES

As the special election for the vacant congressional seat in HI-1 enters a new phase today with ballots being mailed to voters, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) released yet another ad filled with lies about Charles Djou.

“With momentum on our side, it is apparent the national Democrats will stop at nothing to distort my record in order to deceive voters,” said Djou.  “Smear campaigns from the mainland have no place in Hawai’i politics and I’m certain the voters will see through these shameful tactics.  My campaign is focused on lowering the tax burden on Hawai’i families and bringing jobs back to the district that have been lost in the economic downturn.”
