Scholastic Teachables: Free Online Resources for Students, Parents and Educators

News Release from Hawaii State Public Library System, August 5, 2020

The Hawaii State Public Library System knows that education in the current environment is a challenge.  As a statewide library system, we want to support all of our learners so that everyone has an opportunity to continue their educational journey.  With a library card, students, families and educators will have free access to Scholastic Teachables, which promotes skill building while making learning fun at the same time.

Scholastic Teachables is a free online database of tens of thousands of searchable and printable educational materials. Created by teachers and precisely leveled, Scholastic Teachables materials are of high-quality and are ready-to-use for all age ranges from Pre-K to grade 8.

Teachers and parents can search over 25,000 skills and activity sheets, mini-books, educational crafts, and more, to meet student needs. Access to Scholastic Teachables is like having thousands of workbooks, crafts and activities at your fingertips.

Don’t have a library card? No problem! Fill out the online library card application and get started at home using our online resources. Each online library card is good for 45 days. Before it expires, just visit your nearest library to receive your permanent library card.
