Eight Candidates on Ballot for Hawaii Republican Presidential Caucus

EIGHT CANDIDATES ON THE BALLOT FOR HAWAI'I REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CAUCUS

HONOLULU (December 1, 2023) – Ryan L Binkley, Doug Burgum, Chris Christie, and David Stuckenberg are the final four candidates to register for the March 12, 2024, Hawai'i Republican Caucuses.  In total, eight candidates will be on the ballot.

Hawai'i GOP Chair Tamara McKay said: “On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, we will welcome all Hawai’i Republican voters to choose from the Republican Presidential candidates competing for Hawai'i’s 19 GOP Convention delegates.”

December 1, 2023 was the deadline to register for the Hawai’i Republican Presidential Caucus.  The eight candidates on the Hawai’i ballot are:

  • Ryan L Binkley
  • Doug Burgum
  • Chris Christie
  • Ron DeSantis
  • Nikki Haley
  • Vivek Ramaswamy
  • David Stuckenberg
  • Donald J Trump

The outcome of the March 12 voting will directly determine proportional delegate allocation among the competing candidates.  In 2016 over 15,000 Hawai'i Republicans voted in the Presidential Caucuses.

The Hawai'i GOP Caucuses will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 6PM to 8PM at dozens of voting locations statewide. Voting is open to Hawai'i voters with photo ID who sign a GOP membership card at the polling place.

The Hawaiʻi Republican Party is pleased to announce that Vivek Ramaswamy has officially entered the race as the fourth candidate for the upcoming Hawaiʻi Republican Presidential Caucuses, scheduled for March 12, 2024.

Tamara McKay, Chair of the Hawaiʻi GOP, expressed her enthusiasm about the expanding field of candidates: "The Hawaiʻi Republican Party warmly welcomes Vivek Ramaswamy and all Republican Presidential candidates to our beautiful state. We eagerly anticipate a spirited contest for Hawaiʻi's GOP Convention delegates. Our goal is to increase voter  participation in the March 12, 2024 Caucuses."

Candidates interested in joining the Hawaiʻi Republican Presidential Caucus have until December 1, 2023, to register. The caucus will play a pivotal role in determining the allocation of delegates among the candidates. This event follows the successful 2016 caucus, which saw over 15,000 Hawaiʻi Republicans casting their votes.

The 2024 Hawaiʻi GOP Caucuses are set to take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Voting locations will be available statewide, and participation is open to all Hawaiʻi voters who present a photo ID and sign a GOP membership card at their polling location.

HONOLULU, HI, November 15, 2023 — The Hawai'i Republican Party today announced that Ron DeSantis has officially entered the contest for the Hawai'i Republican Presidential Caucus, becoming the third candidate to register for the pivotal event scheduled for March 12, 2024.

Tamara McKay, the Chair of the Hawai'i GOP, expressed enthusiasm for the growing field of candidates: “We welcome all Republican Presidential campaigns to Hawai'i. HONOLULU — The Hawaii Republican Party is pleased to announce that former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has officially registered as the second candidate for the Hawaii Republican Presidential Caucuses slated for March 12, 2024.

Hawaii GOP Chair Tamara McKay remarked on the announcement, “This is an exciting to as we welcome all Republican Presidential campaigns to our beautiful state of Hawaii. With Nikki Haley on the ballot, we are excited and looking ahead to see which other Republican Presidential contenders will be vying for Hawaii's GOP Convention delegates.
