FBI Director Kash Patel visits Honolulu field office

FBI Director Kash Patel traveled to Honolulu the week of July 21 as part of his ongoing commitment to supporting frontline efforts and strengthening interagency partnerships. During the visit, Director Patel met with field office personnel and leaders from FBI Honolulu’s local and federal law enforcement community.
Director Patel began the visit by speaking with law enforcement leaders to discuss current crime trends and threats to the homeland. During these meetings, Director Patel heard about the unique challenges facing law enforcement in the region and discussed the importance of strong partnerships and collaboration in fulfilling our shared mission. He praised the great working relationships between the FBI and the local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.
On a walking tour of the field office, the Director was briefed on FBI Honolulu’s top priorities, violent crime initiatives, and casework. Director Patel expressed his appreciation for the Honolulu team’s dedication to public safety and national security.

FBI Honolulu serves Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, and American Samoa. The field office's headquarters is located in Kapolei, Hawaii. Four additional resident agencies are located on Maui, Hawaii Island (also known as "the Big Island"), Guam, and Saipan.
Director Patel makes regular visits to the FBI’s 55 field offices and legal attachés to meet with personnel, receive briefs on local issues and crime trends, and collaborate with partners. This trip marks Director Patel’s first visit to the Honolulu Field Office.
