Senate WAM Announces Budget Hearing Schedule
By Andrew Walden @ 1:38 PM :: 130 Views :: Hawaii State Government

Hawai’i Senate Committee on Ways and Means last week released its schedule for budget informational briefings during the upcoming 2026 legislative session.

The purpose of the briefings is to ensure public dollars are being spent on priorities that meet the needs of Dela Cruz campaign contributors and anybody with $35,000 in a brown paper bag.

We can anticipate the usual Dela Cruz - Mercado-Kim extortion show.  Viewers can puzzle over which crony sweetheart contracts are being foisted on UH as the price of budget approval.
