Hawaii Voters to Receive Voter Registration Notices Ahead of 2026 Elections
News Release from Office of Elections, March 31, 2026
Pearl City – In the coming weeks, Hawaii voters will receive their voter registration notice in the mail. The notice confirms that you’re properly registered to vote and prepares election officials to send your mail ballot for the Primary and General Elections later this year.
Chief Election Officer Scott Nago emphasized the importance of keeping voter information current:
“We want every Hawaii voter to have their voice heard, and that starts with having your ballot delivered to the right place. Updating your registration right away ensures you don’t miss your chance to participate in the election.”
Voters who have moved or changed their mailing address since the 2024 Elections should update their voter registration immediately.
What if the notice isn’t for you?
If you receive a notice for someone who no longer lives at your address, simply write “not at this address” on the card and place it back in the mail. This quick step helps officials keep Hawaii’s voter rolls accurate.
