Event will start at 10 am, Sunday, June 14, 2025, at the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center.
Parking is free for this event.
Brig Gen Phillip Mallory, Deputy Adjutant General of the Hawai'i National Guard is the keynote speaker for this event.
June 14th 2026 commemorates the 2501st anniversary of the formation of the US Army and its Infantry Branch, established the same day.
June 14th 2026 is the 249th anniversary of the Continental Congress officially passing the Flag Act, adopting the design of the U.S. flag with 13 alternating red and white stripes and 13 stars on a blue field.
June 14th 2026 is also the 137th anniversary of the earliest known celebrations of Flag Day in New York on June 14, 1889.
This is the 15th major Hawai‘i America250 event commemorating the American Revolution leading to the formation of the United States with the adoption, 250 years ago, of the Declaration of Independence that will be celebrated across all Islands on July 4, 2026. It also commemorates the many significant events in America’s first 250 years.
This event features a “Massing of the Colors,” a ceremonial procession of flags from over 40 Veterans, Civic, Genealogical, and Military Professional organizations.
Following the massing of organizational colors (flags), there will be remarks delivered by the distinguished speakers.
Patriotic music will be provided by the 25th Infantry Division Band, and hula performances by the by Halau Hula O Pua A′ala Hone, led by Kumu Hula, Flo-Ku’ulei Fernandez.
