Condo Owners Invited to Hawaiʻi’s First-Ever Condo Owners’ Forum at the State Capitol on November 14

Forum will address owner rights, the future of condominium laws, and proactive planning to prevent crises and protect communities.

News Release from Hawaii State Legislature, Nov 5, 2026

Honolulu, Hawaiʻi — Hawaiʻi condominium owners are cordially invited to participate in Hawai‘i’s Inaugural Condo Owners’ Forum on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hawaiʻi State Capitol Auditorium.

Sponsored by Representative Kim Coco Iwamoto and organized by a grassroots advocacy group dedicated to promoting the fair administration of Hawaiʻi’s condominium laws, this free event is open to all condo owners and residential property owners in common-interest communities statewide, including association board members.

This informative forum offers a unique opportunity for condominium owners and policymakers to connect directly. Legislators and government officials are invited to hear firsthand from the community members who own homes, pay association assessments, fund repairs and maintenance, and live with the daily impact of condominium policies.

“Good public policy is strengthened when shaped alongside the people it directly affects, not only by the professional interests that traditionally have the loudest voices,” said Representative Kim Coco Iwamoto.
