March 22 Deadline: Will Keith-Agaran Hear Human Trafficking Bills?

Find Out About Hawaii's 2012 Human Trafficking Bills!

All three anti trafficking bills are still alive BUT if they are not heard by House Judiciary Chair by next week Thursday, they will die.

Please call and/or email, Rep. Gilbert Keith-Agaran, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and urge him politely to schedule the following bills for hearing:

• SB 2123 - Amended to include National Hotline Posting in areas where victims are usually found and Forfeiture of vehicles of "johns" upon conviction
• SB 2576 - Amendments forthcoming for Vacating Convictions of victims of sex-trafficking
• SB 2579- Amendments forthcoming for a services protocol for child victims of sex-trafficking. Also includes a mandatory $5000 fine for adults who solicit sex from children.
