News Release June 7, 2012

District 11 now includes Manoa, Makiki, Tantalus, Papakolea, and Punchbowl.

Today Larry Fenton reaffirmed his commitment to be a candidate for Hawaii State Senate in district 11, stating that he looks forward to running against either incumbent Democrat Senator because they are taking Hawaii in the wrong direction.  Both incumbent Democrats have been Senators for about two decades each and have only themselves to blame for the weak economy, high taxes, hostile business environment, over-regulation, and high cost of living for Hawaii residents.  They've been representatives of the party in charge of Hawai'i this entire time so they can't escape the blame for where they have taken us.  "It's time for new leadership and a new direction and I'm the one to take us there."

Larry Fenton's focus during the campaign will be on the 2012 Hawai'i Republican Party Platform which declares liberty, limited government, individual responsibility, fiscal accountability, and equality of opportunity.  His principles of honesty, reliability, and standing with the working people and small businesses of Hawai'i are what's going to win this election.  His campaign slogan is "Give freedom a chance".
