Police Union, Small Business Groups Endorse Rep George Fontaine

News Release from Friends of George Fontaine

The Hawaii Chapter of National Federation of Independent Businesses is endorsing Rep. George Fontaine for reelection in HD11 South Maui.

NFIB joins with Fontaine endorsers including:

·       State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers (SHOPO)

·       Hawaii Ohana

·       Hawaii Association of Realtors

Rep Fontaine says: " I am honored to have the endorsements of organizations that represent business, protecting our environment, and who represent our police officers.”

NFIB Hawaii Director Melissa Pavlicek writes:

"Your knowledge and sensitivity to business issues were key factors in our endorsement process. We believe, based on your philosophies and your candidate questionnaire responses that you represent a positive and proactive voice on behalf of Hawaii’s small businesses.

"NFIB/Hawaii will inform our members and others in your area of our endorsement. We will encourage our members to actively work for your election and will convey how important your election is to the economic vitality of Hawaii.

"It is our hope that our efforts on your behalf will help ensure a state legislature that is responsive to the issues of concern to Hawaii’s business owners. We look forward to working with you in the 2013 Legislative Session.

"Best wishes for your successful campaign!"
