Drunks, tax cheats, and other wannabees: Scary Democrat Lieutenant governor candidates air ideas

Today’s Advertiser includes a fluff piece on a ‘progressive’ Democrat ‘speed dating’ event where six leading Democrat candidates for Lt Gov were questioned by typical Democrat activists.  As usual all the basic facts about each of the Democrat candidates were left out.  Also, reflecting a continuing Hawai’i media effort to portray the contest among Democrats as the only election that matters, Republican LG candidate Adrienne King was left out of the article.

Here is some of the missing information….

Brian Schatz at 2006 campaign rally in Larry Mehau’s barn.

None of this was mentioned at the forum or in the coverage.  But who got challenged on the record?  The social conservative, of course.  The Advertiser reports:

Sen Robert Bunda, a social and fiscal conservative, also got a taste of how the intimate format can put candidates on the spot in a way a traditional forum often does not.  Michael Golojuch Jr., a gay activist (and convicted thief) who once called Bunda a bigot at the state Capitol, pressed the senator on whether he believes in the separation of church and state given his Christianity and his opposition to civil unions.

Nobody asked Lyla Berg this question regarding Islam Day.

Here are some photos of Mike Golojuch stealing campaign signs >>> LINK.  Does Golojuch believe in separation of atheism and state?

In typical Hawaii media fashion, the Democrat primary is being treated as if it were the entire election.  Not mentioned, Republican LG candidate Adrienne King.  Here is her website:
