News Release from DataHouse

HONOLULU, HI (November 19, 2012) – DataHouse, a Hawaii-based technology and software development company, is entering a new phase of growth with the appointment of new president Hanwook Kim.

Prior to joining DataHouse, Kim was the Director of Marketing Strategy & Analytics at Hawaiian Airlines. He also oversaw wireless technical development and built business partnerships as a Business Product Manager at Google, where one of his projects was the Google Chrome web browser. Kim has held positions at Procter & Gamble and H.J. Heinz Company and worked with Fortune 500 companies as a management consultant for McKinsey and Company.

“I’m honored and humbled to be part of a talented organization that is building a globally competitive technology company right here in Hawaii,” said Kim. “I’m looking forward to contributing from my experiences at Google, McKinsey, Hawaiian Airlines, and Procter & Gamble to make DataHouse a better place to work, to support our community, and to provide the very best technology solutions to our customers.”

“The DataHouse team has consistently met and exceeded the needs of our customers over the years,” said Kim. “DataHouse is an amazing group of people who know how to have fun, innovate and persevere.”

Kim will be replacing former president Clyde Shiigi at DataHouse, a sister company to local healthcare information technology company TeamPraxis. DataHouse provides quality business solutions, from maintaining and integrating legacy systems to developing Web-based applications for its clients.

“Mr. Kim brings a global perspective on leadership to Hawaii and has already begun to implement exciting growth strategies at DataHouse,” said Creighton Arita, CEO of DataHouse and TeamPraxis. “He is focusing the organization to enhance deep subject matter expertise to develop intellectual property, expand our national partnerships and recruit and retain the best and brightest in Hawaii.”

DataHouse will be partnering with TeamPraxis as the company prepares to expand nationally.
