12-177 was introduced to restore city bus service without raising fares....

Resolution 12-173 to request Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle reverse the course that cut but routes and refrain from further cuts being implemented....

After RESOLUTION 11-203 CD1 FD1 passed the City Council unanimously on November 2, our Mayor has sought to deny the formation of the task force to address flooding for our district....

Ansaldo, was awarded $1.4 billion to build the rail cars in California. A losing bidder, Bombardier, can build the rail cars here creating JOBS on Oahu and do it for $250 million less than Ansaldo.

...to be held in Nanakuli at the Nanaikapono Elementary School from 6 pm to 9 pm on September 8, 2011....

One losing bidder in the procurement process advocated building the rail cars here- creating 150 local jobs on Oahu instead of in California. The losing bidder could also build and maintain the rail cars for $250 million less than what Ansaldo proposed. 

...I have requested the deadline period for submitting comments be extended from August 13, to September 30 of this year....

The Waimanalo Gulch Sanitary Landfill is destined to plague our district for another decade or more unless we act to stop it.  General comments are being accepted up to August 13.

I have introduced resolution 11-109 to start the bidding process over again that could result in saving the taxpayers $250 million and put 150 residents here on Oahu to work building the rail cars.

We were doing a cleanup of Kea`au Beach Park along the Waianae coastline when past Councilman John DeSoto of this area gave a tour of what you see in the video....
