The average person who voluntarily surrenders a firearm to police is not a criminal and the firearms surrendered are not those misused by criminals....

The NRA will be actively fighting proposed anti-gun measures while keeping you updated on scheduled hearings and any action taken. While each bill has been assigned to a committee, most have not yet been scheduled for hearings.

No hunter or target shooter currently uses an “assault weapon”. The term is a political and media invention, intended to cause confusion....

...who is going to be held responsible if one of their patients decides to take out some poor store clerk? Is the shooter's doctor now a potential target for a lawsuit? Can the shooter claim at his trial that he was not properly counseled by his physician?
