Horner suggested that the BOE’s curriculum and civil rights compliance offices, with oversight by the Attorney General, would be the appropriate authorities to make these determinations....

Abercrombie has called both houses of the state Legislature to convene in a special session on Oct. 28 to address the issue of marriage....

...the IRS announced that any same-sex couple who married in a state that recognizes same-sex marriage can file a joint federal tax return, even if the state where they currently live does not recognize same-sex marriage....
