Annual Yearly Progress: How Did Your School Do?
The Hawaii Department of Education has released its Annual Yearly Progress report for 2012. Click the link below to see how your school did. Click the articles below to learn how the DoE is boosting test scores by giving students the answers to the tests. This may be the last year that the DoE is obligated to produce these NCLB-mandated reports. The DoE brass are planning to request a waiver from NCLB requirements this fall. This is part of an ongoing DoE effort to mask failure by changing the tests and by changing the way information is reported.
