"LOOKING BACK, LOOKING FORWARD" FEATURING GOVERNOR LINDA LINGLE PREMIERED ON MAJOR TV NETWORKS TONIGHT

News Release from www.Lingle2012.com June 18, 2012

HONOLULU - Tonight at 10:30 p.m., a two-and-a-half minute special video about former Governor Linda Lingle entitled, "Looking Back, Looking Forward", premiered across the state on every broadcast station (KHON-FOX, KITV-ABC, KGMB-CBS and KHNL-NBC) as well as on Oceanic Time Warner Cable - LL12 (digital cable channel 110).

The much-anticipated video special, told through the voices of the people of Hawaii, details Governor Lingle's commitment to public service. The documentary covers her childhood, includes her eight years as Governor of the State of Hawaii, and highlights her proven record of working across party lines throughout her years of public service. Governor Lingle also discusses her passion about seeking Hawaii's open U.S. Senate seat, and the issues she will focus on if elected to the U.S. Senate.

"Governor Lingle has committed over 25 years to serving the people of Hawaii. From her days representing the people of Molokai on the Maui Council, to Mayor of Maui County, then statewide as Governor of the State of Hawaii, Governor Lingle's commitment has remained centered on putting 'people first'," said Campaign Manager Bob Lee. "Tonight's special video reminds viewers that this election is about us, the people of Hawaii," Lee added.

Oceanic Time Warner Cable digital subscribers were encouraged to tune in to "LL12", digital cable channel 110, to view the video and learn more about the Governor Lingle's positions on the important issues facing our state and nation. LL12, the campaign's dedicated cable channel was launched last week, and provides the people of Hawaii with timely, on-demand information about this important U.S. Senate election.

The video was closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
